Certificates

Transport

In addition to storage, we also offer transport services. We can transport your inventory under various conditions, both nationally and internationally. There's more to the timely and correct transportation of your products than initially meets the eye. It's crucial for us to transport your products carefully and deliver them on time to the desired destination.

That's why we always look for the most efficient and sustainable solution together. We offer these solutions in collaboration with various partners in logistics or through our own refrigerated trailers. We do everything to fully relieve you of any concerns. Our locations are strategically located in relation to the A2 and A50 highways.

Value Added Logistics / Services

Value Added Logistics, or Value Added Services, encompass all services that add value to the logistical process in addition to the import and export of goods. We offer a wide range of these services because we aim to provide comprehensive support. This includes cross-docking, packing and repacking, labeling, container handling, and quality control.

We take full responsibility for the storage process, and these services are an integral part of our expertise. Our proprietary system plays a crucial role in this. Thanks to this system, we are able to quickly and efficiently integrate additional services into the process, alongside the storage and transport of your products.

WMS

WMS is the abbreviation of Warehouse Management System. Our advanced WMS ensures complete control over the logistical process. The system was conceived and built by us and is capable of communicating with the latest technologies, as we continue to develop it constantly. Other parties are now also using this system, which confirms our advisory role in our business, backed by our years of experience. By using a personalized system, specifically designed for our company, we ensure our fast service and maintain short lines of communication.

Customs

Van Acht has a Type C customs warehouse permit. A Type C warehouse permit is an economic customs regulation allowing the storage of goods from outside the EU, where the final destination is not yet determined. During the storage of these goods, no import duties need to be paid.

Thanks to this permit, we can keep your products in stock at our locations. We apply this about 500 times a year. This makes us an independent customs agency capable of handling the import and export clearance of goods, including applying for EUR certificates and Certificates of Origin at the Chamber of Commerce. In addition, we offer services to repackage goods, pick orders, relabel, and of course, further transport them.

CATT-treatment

Our location in Sint-Oedenrode is a specialized and recognized CATT (Controlled Atmosphere Temperature Treatment) treatment facility. CATT is an environmentally friendly treatment method developed by Wageningen University & Research Centre (WUR). This method is used to combat pests in plants. Within a separate department of our company, plants are treated and exposed to a combination of temperatures, air compositions, and levels of humidity. Additionally, CATT is also used as a quarantine treatment during import and export.

Fytosanitaire keurlocatie

Van Acht Logistics is authorized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality (LNV) as a phytosanitary inspection location for conducting import and export inspections. The Quality Control Bureau (KCB), under the supervision of the Ministry of LNV, performs these inspections and can issue phytosanitary documents and certificates if required.

Skal, as a supervisory authority, is committed to the demonstrable reliability of organic products in the Netherlands. This confirms that we meet the requirements within the supply chain for organic products.

STEK F-Gases

With the STEK certificate (F-gases), Van Acht complies with a high-quality, safe, and sustainable approach to refrigeration technology.

NVWA-recognized cold storage facility

Van Acht complies with the requirements for the recognition of cold storage facilities (HACCP hygiene, the HACCP hygiene plan, layout, materials used, and facilities) of the NVWA. Additionally, Van Acht is registered with the NVWA as a storage location for animal feed.
